I know teams can turn it around fast, but what current franchise do you see now having the longest way to before ever being considered a contender? I say the Bobcats for a bunch of reasons. They have almost no talent, terrible owner, and play in a undesired free agent location. They will have a top 4 pick this season, but with their history of drafting, I would guess that player ends up a bust like the rest.

Bobcats by far
Who do they have? DJ Augustine? Kemba Walker? Both are average players. They have no real superstar. This upcoming draft is going to be sooooo important for them. Hopefully, for their sake, there's a guaranteed NBA stud (think Blake Griffin) that's so easily the favorite to be the top pick that can help turn them around.
But then again, they probably won't even win the draft.

The NBA is actually only selling them to someone who will keep the team in NO.
Plus they are close to selling the team already.
And I also don't think Anthony Davis will turnaround a franchise. Sure he will help (mainly by getting blocks and some rebounds) but he has a longggggg ways to go.

looking back on it, it was a brilliant trade, I don't know what your smoking, but it's not going to turn around for them in less than a year.
