with today's media, online access and dicussion forums I don't believe there are underrated players. There's just an ebb and flow to good players popularity as any player worth noting, and some not worth noting, get touted by fans and the media alike at some point and time of the season.

One of the most underrated players is Kevin Martin. This guy can light it up and keep lighting it up. He scores with such ease, can score in a variety of ways, has a killer drive to the basket and can finish. Although injuries in recent years have slowed him down a bit, he's still the most underrated scorer in the league.

Another one is Danny Granger. He is so talented and can shoot it from anywhere. On top, he's more than a scorer as he is a pretty good defender, rebounds the ball good and blocks shots regularly. He's good and should be noticed for being it.

Still another one is Nêne. He survived cancer and a knee injury. I repeat: he survived cancer. He is a very solid C. He rebounds the ball quite well, blocks shots, steals the ball, is one of the most efficient shooters, can make his FT's, and dunks on people like it's nobody's business. Nêne can ball.
'Some people want it to happen, some wish it to happen, and other's make it happen.'

Michael Jordan.

Well, Landry Fields was underrated for awhile but I think he started to get appreciation as the season went on, then he bombed the Celtics series... I think though you have to consider Wilson Chandler underrated with the Nuggs, everyone talks about Gallo but never Chandler

Chandler's a good one, but Landry Fields stunk it up the last couple months of the season

Stephen Jackson's a guy I can think of that's been underrated in his career
