INDIANAPOLIS--The Indiana Pacers, one of the four ABA franchises to be merged with the NBA in 1976, are under new management. The new owner and GM, jpf25, is excited to see what his investment will net him in the coming years. "I am excited to see what we can do in the future" said the new owner in a press conference announcing new ownership.
When asked what his plans are for the team, jpf25 vehemently stated that this year will be a feeling-out process as to the team's personnel, including head coach Jack Ramsay.

"Starting out the season at 12-30 really gives us a good starting point to see where we are going, who we will look to re-sign and who we want to be the foundation of our team for the future."
The team does have some bright young talent currently on its roster including 3rd-year center Wayman Tisdale (age 24), 2nd-year small forward Chuck Person (24), 4th-year guard Alvin Robertson (26), and rookie guard Rod Strickland (23).
"Looking at those guys, it makes us excited as to what the future brings," said jpf25, who also added "I also want to let all other GM's know that we will listen to any and all trade offers."
