Ergh, we're in the middle of a heat wave. The forecast says the next 4 days are going to be 42, 39, 40, 39 Celsius - that's 107, 102, 104, 102 Fahrenheit.

In other news... I got a work of long fiction published in an online journal. Nothing earth shattering like a print contract would be, but it's a start. It's the first time I've submitted fiction for publication, so I'm pretty happy.

dang-gum!!! that is hot. Is that with or without the humidex? We get that hot for a few days in the summer, but only with the humidex... which is the killer part of the heat IMO.

I don't even know what the humidex is. But it's dry heat at the moment, which is a lot more tolerable than when it's humid.

I hate humidity and hot. Worst shit on the planet. I was in Dallas a while back and it was 106 with 100% humidity. I felt like I was going to drowned. I can deal with triple digit tempatures, but not with the humidity. if its over 25% humidity I am hating life.

Ugh. So I got my nipple repeirced last week, since I took the old one out when I was pregnant, and now it is infected. It hurts really bad and now I had to take it out and will have to let it heal. wasted of 70 bucks.

Well, NY is a good place to to play basketball with all the park courts and a lot of good NBA players have come from NY.

And Bran, 2-3 weeks ago I would have agreed with you, but they have actually been playing really good lately with Melo and have won 6 of their last 7 games.

What sucks, it seems both him and Stoudemire seemed to come into this season slow and out of shape.

I have issues falling asleep. So if I dont "go" to bed early I dont fall asleep till late. Like if I go to bed at 10 I dont fall asleep until midnight, and have to be up at 5.
